Kevin Nash On Shawn Michaels Working At NXT Performance Center: ‘There Is Nobody Better’
Kevin Nash is excited to see what Shawn Michaels can do working at the WWE Performance Center.
Nash discussed his good friend's new job during a recent appearance on The Kevin Gill Show. Nash appeared on an episode alongside fellow New World Order mates Scott Hall and Sean Waltman.
"Oh yeah, he's [Michaels] moving to Florida with the family and everything," Nash said during the podcast. "If you thought that NXT was something wait til that son of a b—h gets down there and gives them his magic. There is nobody better than him. Physically nobody better. Psychology nobody better. It's going to be a game changer. I don't know what the hell they are paying him but it's got to be a lot because to get Shawn to do the 9-5.
"His son wants to do graphic design. His daughter wants to be a veterinarian. Sea World is down there. There's a lot of advantages to being in Orlando over Abilene, TX. Nothing against Abilene. I hear there's a lot of good things going on there."
News broke in August that Michaels was moving to Orlando to work at the WWE Performance Center. During his appearance on Gill's podcast, Nash said Michaels would be the head of the WWE Performance Center, but that claim remains unsubstantiated at this point.
Michaels is no stranger to training wrestlers. In the late 1990s, he opened the Texas Wrestling Academy, where his list of pupils included former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and current Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan, current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick, Paul London, and more.
