Kevin Nash Comments On Information Leaks In AEW And How He Would Fix The Issue

Kevin Nash speaks on information leaking within the AEW locker room and offers his remedy on how to fix the problem.

Information leaking to the media in wrestling is not a new occurrence, but in the days of social media, the rapid pace at which information gets out to the public has changed. In its short history, AEW has changed the relationship between pro wrestling promotions and the media but that doesn’t always mean that all the information that gets out is intentional.

On the latest episode of the Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash offered his simple solution on how to fix the problem of unwanted leaks, tell a handful of people the wrong information as bait and if it gets out, you know who the mole is.

“I don’t understand that. It’s real simple, I’m going to tell you guys how you do this. You tell two or three people the wrong information and it fucking gets out, you know who the rat is. That’s booking 101. Sit people down and tell them, hey don’t let this get out, but this is what we’re doing. Then if it gets out and you only tell three people, guess what! [Ta-da].”

In the past, AEW has had locker room discussions about being more careful about the information that gets out there and the promotion does provide chances for the media to ask questions of Tony Khan during media calls before pay-per-view events and media scrums following events.

Elsewhere on this podcast, Kevin Nash talks about Drew McIntyre’s vignette from the October 30 episode of Raw and why he enjoyed it. Read more here.
