Kevin Nash Apologizes To The Rock For Being A Dick To Him In 2002
Kevin Nash admires The Rock’s hustle.
Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hulk Hogan returned to WWE at No Way Out 2002 as the NWO. They were greeted by The Rock, who proceeded to run them all down in one of his most famous promos. Though Rock did business with the three men on-screen, things weren’t always great behind the scenes.
In a 2012 Title Match Wrestling interview, Nash discussed how he needed to re-establish himself in WWE and need The Rock to simply accept that when they worked together. If The Rock didn’t accept it, Nash would make sure he did. Nash also didn’t like how Rock would direct things in the locker room.
Time, and plenty of clanging and banging, heals all wounds as Rock and Nash have garnered a mutual respect and Nash has apologized for how he treated him in 2002.
Great day at Indiana Comic Con. Thanks NWO Nation for the strong showing. Fantastic hotel gym. Got arms and abs in. Thanks @TheRock for putting out these bad ass kicks. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow I’ll hit my table at 10:30. Despite a nice wine list downstairs pic.twitter.com/utKBmWWD9k

Following your lead. You’re work ethic is amazing. You’re filming schedule would kill most mortals but the promotion for your films is the grind. You film and promote at the same time. Sorry I was such a dick to you when I came back in 2002. Just trying to keep my spot.

Both Nash and Rock have found success in Hollywood following their respective wrestling careers.
