KENTA Went To The Hospital Following NJPW Royal Quest, Says He’s Fine
An update on KENTA following Royal Quest.
At NJPW Royal Quest on Saturday, KENTA defeated Tomohiro Ishii to capture the NEVER Openweight Championship. The bout was a hard-hitting affair with seemingly KENTA getting rocked at one point. KENTA was visibly out of the match during the final stretch, nearly forgetting to kick out and forcing the ref to stop his count in the closing moments. KENTA would finish the match, eventually putting Ishii away with the Go To Sleep.
Taking to social media, KENTA revealed that he went to the hospital after the event, but fortunately he is fine.
This is the best way to start as NEVER CHAMP in the hospital
I’m totally fine

KENTA has a long history with injuries, starting with a knee injury in 2009 that kept him sidelined for seven months. In 2011, he suffered a torn ACL that once again put him on the sidelines. In WWE, he suffered shoulder and neck injuries, which cost him a significant chunk of his WWE career.
