Kenny Omega Makes Surprise Video Appearance At Michael Nakazawa’s DDT Farewell

Kenny Omega surprised his friend Michael Nakazawa during his DDT farewell.

Michael Nakazawa has become one of the most popular secondary characters on Being The Elite in recent episodes with The Young Bucks, and their families, constantly saying his name. On Mar. 4 it was announced that All Elite Wrestling had signed Nakazawa as a wrestler and a potential “bridge” between AEW and DDT.

DDT held a farewell for Nakazawa at their recent INTO THE FIGHT 2019 event, sending him off to AEW for good. During the farewell, Omega made a surprise video appearance, hinting that he may return to DDT one day. Omega has not wrestled for DDT since 2014.

Kenny Omega appears in DDT! During today’s DDT Pro Wrestling “INTO THE FIGHT 2019” show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Michael Nakazawa’s farewell ceremony was interrupted by a video message from Kenny Omega. Omega apologised for stealing Nakazawa from DDT and announced that Nakazawa is now allowed to continue wrestling for them while also being a part of AEW. Omega also teased that some day he may show up in DDT again. Surprised by the announcement, DDT President Sanshiro Takagi reacted with a Stunner to Nakazawa, then told him, “WTF was that! You’re still gonna be with us? We’re gonna kick the sh*t out of you whenever you’re back!
