Kenny Omega And The Good Brothers Fall Short, Sami Callihan Calls BS | IMPACT Fight Size
Here is your post-IMPACT Under Siege Fight Size Update.
– Brian Myers kicked off Under Siege by defeating Black Taurus with The Roster Cut. No replay was shown, but D’Lo Brown speculated on commentary that Myers utilized a thumb to the eye to gain the advantage that allowed him to hit his signature move.
In recent weeks, The Most Professional Wrestler had a number of run-ins with Decay. Most of those interactions ended with Rosemary placing the ‘Death’ tarot card atop Myers’ incapacitated body.
– Taylor Wilde and Tenille Dashwood topped Susan and Kimber Lee in the second match of the night. Kaleb with a K provided an assist when he struck Susan with his shoe. This allowed Wilde to hit a german suplex and score the win. After the match, Tenille came in the ring and tried to take pictures with an unenthused-looking Wilde.
Susan asked for this match on the last episode of IMPACT, believing Dashwood and Wilde were in cahoots with one another. This couldn’t be further from the truth, however, as Taylor has expressly told Tenille that they are not friends.

– A video package aired in which Sami Callihan said that he is Don Callis’ biggest fear. He wants the IMPACT World Title back and says that he may not be the hero this company wants, but he’s the one it needs.
“I am @TheDonCallis‘ biggest fear.”

– Ace Austin and Madman Fulton defeated three other teams (XXXL, Rohit Raju & Shera, and TJP & Petey Williams) to become the new number one contenders for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles. They will face FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson) for the belts on the May 20 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
– Willie Mack but up a valiant fight, but he was thoroughly dominated and dismantled by W. Morrissey at Under Siege. The former Big Cass targeted the back of Mack’s head and continued to assault him after the match. Rich Swann would eventually come out and save his friend from what likely would have been a devastating chair shot.

– After losing the belts at Rebellion, Fire ‘N Flava (Tasha Steelz & Kiera Hogan) reclaimed the Knockouts Tag Team Titles at Under Siege, defeating Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering. The two teams had been competing against each other in singles competition in the weeks leading up to the event, with Ellering beating Hogan and Steelz topping Grace. Fire ‘N Flava had been talking smack to Jordynne, calling her the weak link.
They won the match at Under Siege when Kiera Hogan neutralized Rachael Ellering on the outside of the ring, allowing Tasha Steelz to hit the frog splash for the victory.

– XXXL were kicked out of Swinger’s Palace after insulting Johnny’s knowledge of tag team wrestling. They said that Simon Diamond carrying him is the only reason he was ever NWA World Tag Team Champion. Acey Romero and Larry D continue to argue and believe it to be an unfair punishment for one misstep, but quickly back off after Alisha reminds them that Larry shot John E. Bravo.
– Josh Alexander defeated El Phantasmo to retain his X Division Championship. The Bullet Club member earned a shot at The Walking Weapon last week by winning an X Division Scramble match. He fell short on this night, however, tapping out to the ankle lock.
– The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo extended her reign over the Knockouts division at Under Siege by defeating Havok. A springboard armbar takedown set the stage for Havok to tap out to the Champion.

– Eddie Edwards pinned Karl Anderson to earn himself and FinJuice the victory over The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega. The AEW Champion along with Gallows and Anderson had been attacking the Tag Team Champs, as well as other IMPACT talents in recent weeks, but Edwards cut an impassioned promo prior to the match and said – in no uncertain terms – that he would die before letting them take hold over this company that he loves.

– Moose became the new number one contender for the IMPACT World Championship, pinning Chris Sabin in the 6-Man match. He will face Kenny Omega for the belt at Against All Odds on Saturday, June 12.
Sami Callihan has reason to be upset as he was taken out by The Good Brothers during the match. Two weeks ago, he told Don Callis that he had his sights set on Omega, and Callis was visibly nervous at the end of last week’s show when Sami stood tall at the end of the night.
As noted earlier, he believes that he is Don Callis’ biggest fear.
