Keith Lee Not Cleared For AEW Worlds End, Says He’s Been Working Through Injury Since September 2022
Keith Lee is working through an injury.
Keith Lee is set to face Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End on Saturday in a singles match that has been brewing for a year when Swerve and Lee split as a tag team.
Taking to social media, Lee said that he has been working through an injury since Arthur Ashe 2022 (September 21, 2022) and it has gotten worse since Final Battle.
Today… I keep it very real with you guys.
I have been working through an injury since Arthur Ashe Stadium 2022. It has been mostly well taken care of.
Things have been worse since Final Battle. I am trying to get through today for you guys, but I cannot promise anything.

Lee wrestled Shane Taylor at ROH Final Battle, which took place on December 15.
Tony Khan later revealed that AEW doctors would not clear Lee and that Swerve would now face Dustin Rhodes at AEW Worlds End.
