Keith Lee Makes AEW Debut On 2/9 Episode Of Dynamite, Qualifies For Face Of Revolution Ladder Match
The potential of AEW’s latest signing is limitless.
On February 4, AEW President Tony Khan announced that a “top wrestler will walk through the forbidden door” on AEW Dynamite when they face Isiah Kassidy in the first qualifier to compete in the Face of the Revolution ladder match.
During tonight’s edition of Dynamite, that person turned out to be Keith Lee. The former WWE Superstar made quick work of the Private Party member, earning himself a spot at AEW Revolution on March 6. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen tried to attack Lee after the bell but he was able to fight them off with relative ease.
Lee was released by WWE on November 4, 2021. During his three years with the company, Lee won the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship. He was called up to WWE Raw following SummerSlam 2020, though would miss time from February 2021 to June 2021 due to a health scare. After returning to television in June, he was rebranded as “Bearcat” Keith Lee in September. His last match came on the October 25 episode of WWE Raw, defeating Cedric Alexander.
