Keith Lee Announced As ‘Bearcat’ Keith Lee At WWE Raw Tapings
Keith Lee gets a fresh start.
It has been a rollercoaster year for Keith Lee. In August 2020, he was brought up to Monday Night Raw and marked his territory by immediately beating Randy Orton at Payback just days after his debut. That debut would come with some changes, however.
Keith Lee immediately changed his ring gear from his NXT days and he changed his theme song, much to the chagrin of the fans, upon first appearing on Monday Night Raw.
Eventually, Keith Lee would start to flourish, and right as he was about to get a United States Championship match on Pay-per-view, he contracted COVID-19 which led to several months away from the ring.
Keith Lee would return upon WWE resuming live touring in July 2021 and would trade winds with his former NXT rival, Karrion Kross. Now, it appears he is receiving yet another refresh.
Prior to the Monday Night Raw episode on September 20, 2021, Keith Lee would be introduced to the crowd for an impending match as “Bearcat” Keith Lee.
At this time, it is not known whether this match was a dark match or whether it was taped for Main Event. Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report all updates.
