Keiji Muto Loses Retirement Matches To Tetsuya Naito And Masahiro Chono
Keiji Muto calls it a career.
Keiji Muto stepped into the ring for the final time on February 21 at Pro Wrestling NOAH Muto Grand Final, taking on Tetsuya Naito. Muto left it all in the ring, but was ultimately bested by Naito, who finished off the legend with Destino.
Muto and Naito embraced after the match.
However, Muto was not done as he called out Masahiro Chono for an impromptu match. Chono accepted the offer and went on to tap out Muto with an STF in what will officially be the last match for both men.

Muto began his career in October 1984 and went on to have a legendary run that included stints in NJPW, WCW, AJPW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and more promotions. He famously portrayed The Great Muta, one of the most influential characters in wrestling history. He wrestled his final match as Great Muta on January 22.
Muto is a former Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and GHC Heavyweight Champion.
