In recent weeks, The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, The Authors of Pain, Scarlett, and Paul Ellering) has been making an impact in NXT. Karrion Kross has made it clear that they were coming for everyone’s spots, and they had their sights set on gold.
During a promo on the April 23 episode of WWE NXT, Kross discussed the group’s mission. He noted that they aimed to bring everyone back to the good old days, when they left every beaten and broken. The video package then showed flashes of Kross and the Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) from their time in NXT, which came during the Black and Gold era.
