Kamille explains why she has not been wrestling as much in recent weeks.
Former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille has not wrestled on NWA programming since the September 26 episode of NWA Powerrr, which was taped on August 28. She has appeared on NWA Powerrr, and she accompanied Thom Latimer to the ring at NWA Samhain, but she has not competed.
Speaking on the Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell, Kamille was asked whether she was taking time away or dealing with an injury.
“No, I mean I wrestled Madi Wrenkowski, I was in a tag team at AJ Cazana’s show. I just did a show, so I’ve had a few matches here and there just to make sure the ring rust is off. But yeah, I’m also taking it easy. It’s the end of the year. My plan for the end of the year was to kind of regroup, reset, and get ready for the next year. But like I said, I’ve been having matches here and there, maybe not just with the NWA but on the independents to make sure I don’t get too rusty,” Kamille said.
During the interview, Kamille stated that she would be content staying with the NWA, but she has time to think about her future. Check out her comments here.
