Juice Robinson Wants To Rename FinJuice To The Road Wives

David Finlay and Juice Robinson are known as FinJuice. The tag team name is simple enough, combining the two names of the performers.

Why FinJuice? Why not Fin & Juice? Why not David Robinson?

“I was asking, ‘Why do we call ourselves FinJuice?’ I wanted our names to be The Road Wives,” explained Juice Robinson on Straight Shootin with Matt Rehwoldt (formerly Aiden English). “I thought it was cool and sounded like a punk rock thing. The Road Wives is also a behind the scenes, silly, jargon term [about] the guy you ride with and hang out with all the time. We would say it jokingly and I thought it was a great name. Somebody said it on Twitter. They asked our name and [Finlay] said [it was FinJuice]. I think we should still change it. Do a formal name change to The Road Wives.”

There you have. Out with FinJuice, in with The Road Wives.

Despite Juice Robinson maybe not completely loving the name, FinJuice have been successful as a duo. They currently hold the IMPACT Tag Team Titles and successfully defended them against The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) at IMPACT Rebellion.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Juice revealed he tested positive for COVID in January. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
