Juice Robinson Misses NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors Finals With Appendicitis, SANADA Returns

An update on Juice Robinson

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that Juice Robinson had to missed Friday’s Best of the Super Juniors Finals due to appendicitis. Robinson, the reigning IWGP US Champion, was scheduled to face Tomoaki Honma in a non-title bout.

Honma faced Ryohei Oiwa instead.

Later during the show, SANADA returned and issues a challenge for the IWGP US Title at NJPW Dominion on June 12. It is unknown if Robinson will be cleared by June 12 to defend his title.

SANADA relinquished the title in April due to a fractured orbital bone. Robinson won the title in a four-way bout at NJPW Capital Collision when he defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jon Moxley, and Will Ospreay.
