Juice Robinson Is Content With Finishing His Career In New Japan Pro Wrestling

At the current moment, Juice does see himself having to go elsewhere other than New Japan.

The current IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson has been with New Japan Pro Wrestling since 2015. Outside of a few independent shows that Juice has worked over the years, he is based in Japan and works the majority of New Japan tours throughout the year. Robinson has also picked up more dates with Ring Of Honor where he is the current leader of the LifeBlood stable that consists of Bandido, Mark Haskins, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams and David Finlay.

This past January, Juice Robinson sat down with Chris Jericho in Japan to do the ‘Talk Is Jericho’ podcast. The episode was recently released and Juice did state that he was going to be picking up more dates with Ring Of Honor which he has but made it clear that he feels there is no reason for him to take on more dates in the United States and threw it out there that he wants to be with New Japan for the remainder of his career.

“No, I wanna just work for New Japan forever, because I think we’re gonna do more and more shows in America and now with the invention of the internet and everything, anybody can watch anything now so it’s… I don’t know. I don’t need to go back there. I would hate to go back there and not do something. Here, you feel like… you don’t move the needle, but a little bit.” He explained.

Juice continued by saying that he feels that he’ll never hit that proverbial ceiling and he’ll always have something to contribute to the company. Robinson closed his statement with saying that he is content with never walking through the walls of WWE again.

“I want to be in New Japan until I [have] that feeling I had in WWE, but I don’t think I’m ever gonna have that feeling. I don’t think I’m gonna sit the bench. I’m always gonna contribute here in some way but… I don’t think I’ll ever have the feeling of where I’ll need to leave or hitting the ceiling here. If I never walk through a curtain at WWE ever again, I won’t lose any sleep over it.” Juice said.

During this very interview, Juice Robinson talked about how appreciative he is of Gedo for taking a chance on him and to read Fightful’s published article about Juice’s comments, click here.
