Jordynne Grace On Recently-Released WWE Talent Possibly Coming To IMPACT

Now a Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Jordynne Grace wouldn’t mind challenging a former WWE Women’s Tag Team.

On April 15, WWE released ten superstars including Billie Kay (Jessica McKay), Peyton Royce (Cassie Lee), Mickie James, Chelsea Green and Samoa Joe. Appearing on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Grace was asked about IMPACT’s upcoming Slammiversary PPV and if she would like to see any of the newly free agent wrestlers appear. She said the following:

“Well, I think everybody has been talking about The IIconics coming, so I feel like that would be really awesome to challenge them for the belts. Who else got released that I was thinking about? Obviously, Samoa Joe. I probably wouldn’t be wrestling him, but it would be awesome just to have him on the show. My dream is to hit stereo muscle busters with Samoa Joe. So, maybe that’ll happen one day.”

In their teaser for Slammiversary, IMPACT showed images of Samoa Joe, Mickie James, and the Australian flag. At last year’s edition of the event, The Good Brothers, Eric Young, and Heath Slater all appeared, fresh off of their 90-day non-compete clause.

Grace also noted that the Knockouts Division may be expanding soon, so she does hope to see all the aforementioned women in IMPACT. Here is what she said:

“I don’t know if you heard or not, but I think that the Women’s Division is going to be expanding more soon. Fingers crossed. That’s the rumor, so hopefully, we can get all of these girls.”

Although they are set to be opponents once again at the Under Siege event on May 15th, Grace shared that Kiera Hogan’s idol is Mickie James and she is pushing hard for her to come back to the company. She said this:

“Kiera Hogan, her idol is actually Mickie James, so I know that she’s really pushing hard for her to come and so that they can have a singles match… She definitely would [start crying] — I know she has some bad anxiety during matches so I can only imagine what would happen if she got to wrestle Mickie James.”

Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering defeated Fire ‘N Flava at IMPACT Rebellion and will face the former champions in a rematch at Under Siege.
