– Jonathan Gresham recently spoke with Lucas Charpiot of VL Media and discussed wanting to wrestle CM Punk and Bryan Danielson to be able to lay claim to the best in the world title,
“Not necessarily for a title defense. To be the best wrestler in the world, I have to face all the people who claim to be too,” Jonathan Gresham said. “I have already said it in interviews several times: to restore Ring of Honor’s image, my objective is to fight against Bryan Danielson and CM Punk. They both took on the nickname “Best in the World” when they were world champions in the promotion. My goal is to reclaim the honor of this nickname to assign it only to the current Ring of Honor champion.”
– Speaking with Graham GSM Matthews, Matt Hardy discussed the recent Cody Rhodes departure from AEW:
“Cody’s obviously one of the forefathers of AEW: him, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega,” he said. “They were kind of the guys that were leading the charge as far as creating AEW and they got with Tony Khan and he made things happen and made AEW a reality. It’s going to be really interesting and I wish Cody the best in whatever he ends up doing, but it’s going to be very weird not having him around in AEW. I’m sure whatever he ends up doing, he’ll kill it and be great at it.”
“I’m at that point now where anything can happen,” he said. “It’s pro wrestling and we kind of control our own destinies. Don’t ever be surprised because anything can happen in this wild industry.”

“Being honest, he killed that role. He really did and they ran with it for a long time. I don’t know that we could’ve gotten as much mileage out of me being the son than as they did out of Hornswoggle being the son.”
