Jonathan Gresham And Davey Richards’ Replacements Announced For PWG Battle Of Los Angeles 2022
Two new names have been added to PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles.
On January 28, Jonathan Gresham hopped on Twitter and revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, he will be unable to compete at this weekend’s BOLA tournament. The ROH Champion also missed last weekend’s The WRLD On GCW show for what we now know to be the same reason.
Additionally, Davey Richards, Gresham’s first-round opponent is also unable to compete. Thus, PWG has announced that Wheeler Yuta and Blake Christian would be taking their spots and facing off in the opening round.
Christian recently defeated Lio Rush at The WRLD On GCW, while Yuta has been a fixture on AEW programming as a member of Best Friends.
Unfortunately, Jonathan Gresham and Davey Richards are unable to compete at the 2022 Battle of Los Angeles. Wheeler Yuta and Blake Christian have now entered the tournament and will be facing off in the first round!
