JONAH vs. Tomohiro Ishii Set For IMPACT Rebellion 2022
A new match has been announced for IMPACT Rebellion.
During the March 24 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, a vignette aired showing footage of NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii. A video from JONAH then played where he revealed that he would be facing Ishii at Rebellion on April 23. JONAH had been asking for stiffer competition and at Rebellion he is looking forward to a fight.
Ishii will also compete at April 1’s Multiverse of Matches event where he will face Eddie Edwards. This will be the first time the six-time Never Openweight Champion will perform for IMPACT. He made an appearance on AEW programming last year, teaming up with Orange Cassidy to face The Butcher and The Blade.
