Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega Now Unsanctioned Bout At AEW Full Gear, Updated Card
Stipulation added to Moxley vs. Omega.
The AEW Full Gear bout between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega is now an unsanctioned “lights out” match. The stipulation was added by AEW President Tony Khan, who made his television debut in an off-screen capacity as part of the opening segment of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Moxley entered Khan’s office following last Wednesday’s episode and was told that given the problems between Moxley and Omega, AEW cannot sanction the singles contest at Full Gear. Moxley was upset by the news, believing Khan is trying to protect the win-loss record of Omega.
