Moxley was set to compete at Wrestling REVOLVER’s Heat Em Up event on August 3. However, in a video message, the former AEW World Champion announced that he will be unable to wrestle at the show “due to circumstances beyond our control.” Moxley then named Konosuke Takeshita as his replacement, and he called the AEW star one of the greatest wrestlers in the world.

As of this writing, additional details on Moxley’s absence are not available.
