Jon Moxley Tells Bryan Danielson He’s Fighting For Something Much Bigger Than Himself On AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley has been hinting at a greater purpose since he returned on the August 28th episode of AEW Dynamite and told Tiny Schiavone that this was not “your” company anymore. He turned on AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out, and at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, he beat Darby Allin to earn a shot at the world championship.
At the end of the October 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite, Moxley sent another message to Danielson after the champion defeated Kazuchika Okada. While Claudio Castagnoli and PAC held him in place, Moxley said that he was fighting for something much bigger than himself.
“You think this is about me? Is that what you said? You think any of this is about me? Let’s get something through your simple-minded, blueberry-picking little brain. None of this is about me. None of this is what I want. I’m fighting for something much bigger than myself. Everything I’m gonna do is because I have to. Because no one else will, no one else can. If any of this was about me, I’d have put you out of your misery years ago,” Moxley said.
“NONE OF THIS IS ABOUT ME!” What does Jon Moxley mean by that?

Wheeler Yuta then made the save. He and Danielson will face Castagnoli and PAC on the October 8th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Moxley is set to challenge Danielson for the AEW World Championship at AEW WrestleDream.
