Jon Moxley Successfully Defends GCW Championship Against Nick Gage In Deathmatch At GCW Fight Club
Jon Moxley defended his GCW Championship versus Nick Gage in a deathmatch at GCW Fight Club.
Moxley won the title from Matt Cardona at GCW The Art Of War Games. Gage confronted him after the bout, setting up their fight this evening.
Ahead of the match, Mick Foley came to the ring and spoke about his affinity for hardcore wrestling. He then presented the title before the bell rang for the main event. He remained on commentary for the remainder of the show.
Unsurprisingly, Moxley and Gage were both took a lot of punishment throughout the match. Both were hit with light tubes, slammed through barbed wire tables, and sliced up with pizza cutters. The finish came when Moxley hit a Paradigm Shift on Gage from the top rope, dropping him on his head in a ring littered with shards of glass.
Wearing a crimson mask, Jon Moxley leaves GCW Fight Club, still, the GCW World Champion.
