– In the main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley defeated Jake Hager in an Empty Arena No Holds Barred match to retain the AEW Championship.

– Adam Cole no showed to Full Sail to talk with Velveteen Dream regarding the NXT Championship. Dream wasn’t too thrilled about that and called out Cole. Instead of Cole, Finn Balor was the one who showed up to confront Dream, setting up a match for next week.
– While NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has to eventually defend her title against No. 1 contender Io Shirai, Flair did talk highly of Mia Yim.

– Killer Kross attacked Tommaso Ciampa at the end of NXT.
