Johnny Gargano Responds To Claim He Is Scared To Go To Main Roster: NXT Is My Definition Of Success
Is Johnny Wrestling too scared to leave NXT? Certainly not if you ask him.
Johnny Gargano has been a part of NXT since the first Dusty Rhodes Classic tag team tournament in 2015. Starting out as a makeshift team with Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano would slowly become the heart and soul of the black and gold brand and has stated numerous times in the past that he has no real desire to go beyond NXT to one of the main WWE brands like Raw or SmackDown.
Responding to a fan who remarked on Twitter that Johnny is too scared to go to one of the main brands of WWE, Johnny would say that for him, NXT is his perfect definition of success, noting that he gets to travel the road with his wife and many friends he’s made from years on the road. Johnny would also praise NXT management, noting he has a great relationship with the higher-ups in NXT, who just so happen to be the founders of D-Generation X.
Let’s talk about this “scared” narrative. I get to work side by side with my Wife and guys I’ve traveled the world with for years. I have a great relationship with everyone in the office, get to WRESTLE and help a product I truly believe in. That’s my definition of “success,” Johnny said candidly.
