John Silver: Dark Order Doesn’t Want Or Need Another Leader, We Had The Best
Save yourself time and delete your “next Dark Order leader” tweets.
With WWE releasing Aleister Black on Wednesday, June 2, fans quickly theorized and hoped that Black would make the move to AEW and lead the Dark Order. Fans believe Black’s persona would make him a natural leader for the group following the tragic passing of Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) in December 2020.
John Silver has no interest in the group being led by anyone else, tweeting, “The Dark Order doesn’t want or need another leader. We already had the best.”

Following the passing of Lee, Dark Order befriended Hangman Page, though he wouldn’t be classified as the “leader” of the group.
Some groups can just be friends without a set leader.
It is unknown where Aleister Black will end up following his WWE release. He has a 90-day non-compete clause that won’t expire until September 2.
