John Oliver: The Idea Of A Floating Abortion Clinic Is Like The Plot Of Adam Copeland’s ‘Money Plane’
John Oliver somehow remembers Adam Copeland’s ‘Money Plane’ movie.
‘Money Plane’ starred Adam Copeland and was released in 2020. A major plot point in the film is that the ‘Money Plane’ in question contains the most dangerous criminals in the world, but it only flies in international airspace, meaning said criminals can not be arrested.
On a recent episode of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver was discussing the current abortion law crisis in the United States when he brought up an idea that was pitched by a doctor. The doctor in question brought up the idea of building a floating abortion clinic in the Gulf Of Mexico, making it to where it would not break any specific state laws. Oliver compared this idea to the ‘Money Plane’ movie.
