John Morrison To Wrestle First WWE Match Since 2011 When He Faces Big E On 1/17 WWE SmackDown
John Morrison returns to a WWE ring for the first time since 2011 when he faces Big E on next Friday’s SmackDown.
Big E and Morrison were ringside, and on commentary, on Friday’s SmackDown when The Miz battled Kofi Kingston. The Miz was victorious in the singles contest, pinning Kingston after a Skull Crushing Finale. Morrison made his official return to SmackDown last Friday, emerging from Miz’ locker room following Miz losing to Kingston. He was a special guest on Miz TV on Friday’s SmackDown, chastising fans for turning on Miz.
Next Friday will mark Morrison’s first WWE match since November 28, 2011, when he lost to The Miz on as episode of WWE Raw.
