John Cena Wants In Fast & Furious 10, Johnny Wrestling Is Here To Stay, AEW Road To | Fight Size
Here is your fight size update for Tuesday, January 11, 2021:
– Speaking on Good Morning America, John Cena revealed that while he is currently all in on The Peacemaker franchise, he wants to appear in the 10 Fast and the Furious movie.
I can tell you this. You probably won’t see me in Fast 10 dressed like [Peacemaker], but I really hope you see me in Fast 10 I know they’re gearing up for production. I would love nothing more than to return to the franchise. I’m a big fan myself. I’m just milking the Peacemaker. I showered [in the costume] this morning.
– Johnny Gargano tells Connor Casey of Comic Book that he will always be Johnny Wrestling no matter where he goes.
I’ll always be Johnny Wrestling. It was such a fun thing, especially for my last TakeOver and I guess my last appearance on NXT television, to be able to come out to “Rebel Heart” and have that back because I feel like that’s the pure Johnny Wrestling at his core.
I feel like people missed that so much, and that was on purpose. I felt like for a long time I did the pure Johnny Wrestling thing… I did the pure Johnny Wrestling thing for so long that if you’re a character for such a long time, people grow stagnant of it, people get tired of it. If you watch a television show, you read a comic book and the same character’s around and he’s doing the same thing all the time, (it) gets tiring, you know?
So I wanted to get people a break from that, but it was so rewarding for me to be able to hear people want that again. That was really fun for me to be able to read the comments. When I teased “Rebel Heart” coming back, people were so pumped and it was really cool to kind of bring that back for one final go-around. But like I said, I will always be Johnny Wrestling, no matter what.

– Ahead of last weekend’s AEW Battle of the Belts show at Bojangles Coliseum, the CRVA (Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority) commissioned Asheville-based artist Hal Haney to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art that highlights the current stars of AEW while also paying homage to the rich history of pro wrestling in the building.
10 limited edition copies of this original 11×17 artwork were printed and signed by AEW personnel, including Sammy Guevara, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes. They are currently being auctioned off to benefit Loaves and Fishes, a Charlotte charity that helps those battling food insecurity, at the suggestion of David Crockett. This is all done in conjunction with AEW Community Outreach, which is spearheaded by Cody Rhodes.
Fans and collectors can bid on the signed pieces at this link through 10 a.m. ET this Saturday, Jan. 15.
