John Cena To Take On The Bloodline At WWE Fastlane; Bloodline Attacks Cena, Hospitalizes AJ Styles
John Cena had a long night on September 22.
John Cena began the WWE Friday Night SmackDown episode on September 22, looking to team up with AJ Styles against The Bloodline tandem of Jimmy Uso and his younger brother, Solo Sikoa. While the babyfaces wanted the match to take place that very night, instead, it was slated to take place at WWE Fastlane on October 7.
A contract signing was set to occur later on September 22, but Jimmy and Solo attacked AJ Styles backstage, putting him through a table and forcing him to leave the arena in an ambulance. With AJ Styles gone, Cena still tried to fight The Bloodline alone but got decimated for his trouble.

A contract was signed by everyone but Cena’s eventual tag team partner, whomever that may be. Fightful has learned that LA Knight was slated for that segment but had to leave the arena after testing positive for COVID-19. Learn more here.
