John Cena Returns To SmackDown Live Next Week
John Cena is coming back to SmackDown Live to kick off 2019.
As announced on Raw, Cena will be appearing on both Raw and SmackDown next week. WWE announced the following in regards to Cena’s return to SmackDown:

What better way to kick off the new year than with John Cena?One of “Mr. McMahon-ta Claus’s” gifts to the WWE Universe on the Christmas Eve edition of Raw was the return of the 16-time World Champion, to both the red and blue brands. Cena’s first appearance will come on the New Year’s Day edition of SmackDown LIVE. As Team Blue gets ready to kick off 2019, how will the presence of one of the greatest Superstars in WWE history effect things?
SmackDown Live will be taped this Saturday at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Local advertisement has Cena appearing as a special guest on Miz TV.
Cena will make his return to the ring tonight at a WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden. Fightful will have full results and highlights from the show following its conclusion.
