Joey Janela vs. Scotty 2 Hotty Booked For GCW ‘Die 4 This’ On New Year’s Day

Scotty 2 Hotty is gonna turn it up against “The Bad Boy” on New Year’s Day 2022.

Scotty 2 Hotty recently requested his release from WWE after proclaiming that he no longer wanted to simply “accept a paycheck.” Prior to his exit, he was a coach at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

In the time since he has left WWE, he has accepted several bookings but his most recent booking is perhaps the most high-profile one yet. 

At GCW Die 4 This on January 1, 2022, Scotty 2 Hotty will face current AEW wrestler Joey Janela. Janela is no stranger to facing legendary tag team wrestlers. In the past, he has faced Marty Jannetty and Ricky Morton, losing his match against the latter.

This card will also feature the return of Homicide and MLW’s Calvin Tankman in action.
