Joe Gacy To Challenge Bron Breakker For The NXT Championship At NXT Spring Breakin’ 2022
The NXT Championship will be on the line at NXT Spring Breakin’ on Tuesday, May 3.
It was two weeks ago that Joe Gacy and Harland kidnapped Bron Breakker’s father, Rick Steiner, only to release him after stealing his WWE Hall of Fame ring. The NXT Champion has spent the past two weeks searching for Gacy but had come up empty thus far.
At the very end of the April 19 episode of NXT 2.0, Gacy appeared at ringside and told Breakker that he’s not a hard person to find and that if he wanted the ring back all he had to do was ask. Before returning the ring, Gacy asked Breakker for an NXT Championship Match as a way of making both of them happy.
Bron accepted the challenge, but after he was in possession of the ring, Gacy pushed him off of the platform and landed hard on his back. He was then surrounded by hooded figures as the show went off the air.
While it is unclear what happened to Breakker, what we do know is that the two men will meet on May 3 at Spring Breakin’ with the NXT Title on the line.
