Here is your post-NXT fight size update for November 8.

Cameron Grimes battled Joe Gacy in the latest clash in their heated rivalry. Schism was at ringside, and the group distracted Grimes on multiple occasions. In the end, Ava Raine tripped Grimes up, and Gacy pinned him for the win.

– NXT North American Champion Wes Lee vowed to make Carmelo Hayes miss when they clash in two weeks. Meanwhile, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams returned to the barbershop. Hayes stated that he put the NXT North American Championship more relevant than the NXT Championship. He gave Wes Lee credit for his title win, but he says until Lee beats him, he’s just the paper champion. Hayes said he’ll have a short title reign, and it will end when they clash in the ring. He stated that they’ll sign the contract for a title match next week.

Grayson Waller hosted the Grayson Waller Effect with NXT Bron Breakker and Von Wagner as his guests. The two powerhouses discussed their looming title match. Wagner stated that the title is what he’s there for, and he’ll leave Breakker lying next week. Robert Stone said Wagner is more powerful and more dangerous than Breakker. The champion dared Wagner to step up and take him head on. Breakker said NXT is all about the future, and he was the next big thing a year ago. Now, he’s the champion, and he has learned that you have to take what you want. Wagner vowed to ragdoll Breakker around the ring next week. The two stars had a heated staredown as tensions continued to rise. 

Elektra Lopez faced Sol Roca, and while the newcomer showcased her athleticism, Lopez scored an emphatic victory. Indi Hartwell attacked Lopez after the match, and they brawled until they were separated. Later in the show, Hartwell stated that she’s finally learning how NXT works, and she’s betting on herself.

– At Fallon Henley’s bar, Kiana James walked in and expressed her interest in buying the property. She made a proposal, but Henley turned her down because the bar has been a part of her family for her whole life. James made her another offer, and Henley rejected it.

– Backstage, Axiom wished Nathan Frazer well in his recovery from an injury. JD McDonagh confronted Axiom ahead of their match later in the show. Axiom subsequently took on McDonagh in a singles match. Despite Axiom’s best efforts, the referee stopped the match when McDonagh twisted Axiom’s knee until it popped. Officials helped Axiom to the back, and McDonagh stated that he’s not a nice guy when people get in the way of his quest for the NXT Championship. He told everyone in the back to get on his level, and he called out Apollo Crews.

Scrypts hijacked into the NXT arena and stated that they would soon arrive to watch NXT fall.

 – Jacy Jayne talked to Mandy Rose on the phone and told her that Gigi Dolin suffered three cracked ribs when Alba Fyre attacked her. Alba Fyre pretended to be a “mall cop” and pulled her over before she paid Jayne out. Fyre vowed to beat Rose for the title next week.

Hank Walker battled Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. “Stacks” poked Walker in the eye en route to a tainted victory.

– Another vignette teased the return of Dominik Dijakovic, and he promised to dish out his form of justice

– In a video package, Cora Jade stated that Wendy Choo stuck her nose in her business last week. She noted that Choo is desperate to be liked and accepted, but she will always be on the outside. Jade told her to think twice next time she makes a friend at her expense 

– Andre Chase faced Charlie Dempsey, hoping to give him a teachable moment. Chase fought valiantly, but Dempsey caught him in a brutal submission hold. Duke Hudson then threw in the towel for Chase, so Dempsey scored the win. Chase clearly wasn’t happy with the outcome.

Brutus Creed finally got his Five-Minute Challenge with Damon Kemp, and he made the most of it. Kemp got in some offense, but Creed unleashed his frustration on his former stablemate. Creed got disqualified when he hit Kemp with a chair. Meanwhile, Sanga and Veer Mahaan watched on from a platform in the arena.

– In the main event, Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons challenged Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. Chance and Carter emerged victorious at the end of the hard-fought bout. After the bell, Stark turned on Lyons and left her lying to conclude the show.

– Roxanne Perez asked Indi Hartwell if she was okay because she has been acting different lately. Hartwell said there are no friends in this business.
