Jimmy Jacobs, Sami Callihan Debut For Impact Wrestling
Sami Callihan and Jimmy Jacobs arrived on the national wrestling scene again, as members of the Impact Wrestling roster.
Callihan appeared on Impact Wrestling's Bound For Glory show Sunday night along with Ohio Versus Everything to even the odds against LAX in the show's 5150 Street Fight.
The 30-year old Callihan joined Dave and Jake Crist after being shown backstage conspicuously. Only his thumb and arm tattoos appeared on screen following what apperared to be an attack on LAX member Homicide in the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa.
Callihan has appeared on Lucha Underground in recent months, but didn't actually wrestle there for well over a year. Due to Lucha Underground's unique broadcast schedule, there's no word on if he'll return. He spent over three years in WWE's developmental territory NXT, where he performed as Solomon Crowe. Despite a strong start on TV his push fell flat and he asked for his release from the company in November 2015.
Former WWE creative member Jimmy Jacobs arrived at Bound For Glory and indicated to Jeremy Borsh that he works for the company now. Jacobs was fired by WWE recently after taking a selfie with Bullet Club during their WWE "invasion."
