Jim Ross On Swerve Strickland vs. Adam Page IV At AEW All Out: It’s Gonna Be A Bloodbath

Jim Ross talks Strickland vs. Page IV at AEW All Out.

After burning down his childhood home, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page will be forced to step inside of a steel cage with Swerve Strickland at AEW All Out. This will be the fourth singles match between Page and Strickland since their feud began in late 2023.

On a recent edition of Grilling JR (via AdFreeShows), Ross predicted that the match will be a bloodbath, stating that the winner of the match could challenge for the AEW World Championship in the near future.

“It’s gonna be a bloodbath I think between those two dudes. They don’t like each other, they’re both intense, they’re both trying to stake their claim to their territory within AEW. Again, as I mentioned earlier, you build a reputation by winning big matches on pay-per-view. That’s how you develop a body of work and Swerve is still in the process of doing that. He’s far from being out of any title consideration, he deserves his rematch at some point and time but he’s really impressed me in recent weeks. He’s a really good talent and one of many young talents that AEW is developing. We’ve seen more of Hangman Page over the years then we have Swerve, but Hangman is just a match away from getting right back into the title hunt as well, so maybe the winner of this match boosts themselves to a place where it could be more feasible and you know, makes more sense by the winner getting a leg up and challenge for something bigger and better. You’ve got to win first and that starts Saturday night.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ross stated that he expects MJF to defeat Daniel Garcia at AEW All Out. Check out his full comments here.
