Jim Ross Says WWF Never Asked Wrestlers To Get Breast Implants

Throughout history in wrestling, women and men have enhanced their appearance in some form. Lita, one of the most successful WWE wrestlers in company history, already had a unique look and style that helped her stand out among the crowd.

And speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross noted that Lita undergoing a breast enhancement contributed to her look, but she already had “it.” Following Ross’ comments on Lita’s breast enhancement, Ross was asked about other female superstars enhancing their look and whether WWE ever asked them to undergo the procedure.

“Nope. Sure didn’t,” Ross replied. “Didn’t step in that territory because you’re defenseless if something goes array. It has to be a personal decision made by the talent. If they believe that it will enhance their TV persona and overall look as to what is accepted by general society, then that’s going to be their call. If they need time off to get it done, obviously. If they need money to help them, advance them some money, I think we’ve done those things. But that was always based on the talents decision. It wasn’t my place to tell you to get a boob job and then something go wrong and you did it because you felt you were compelled to because your boss said to. Now, you get issues and the WWE has got a problem. We never did that.”

Lita was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 and is a former four-time Women’s Champion. She last wrestled on the October 29, 2018 episode of WWE Raw.
