Jim Ross: “My Gut Tells Me Hulk Hogan Will Return To WWE”

Even though he has heard nothing about it, Jim Ross thinks Hulk Hogan will be in WWE again.

The twelve-time world champion and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has not been seen on WWE television for almost two years. Leading up to Wrestlemania 33, it was being discussed by Ross and others that Hogan might appear since the event was in Orlando, Florida, near Hogan's Tampa home. Hogan did not appear at Wrestlemania, but in a recent blog, Ross said he still thinks Hogan should show up in WWE at some point.

"Receiving questions regularly whether I think that Hulk Hogan will ever return to WWE at some point in a yet to be determined role or merely for a guest appearance. I am not in that loop and have no inside info but my gut tells me that HH will return to WWE at some point in the future when all parties are comfortable with the reunion. I think that Hulk and WWE should try and do some business," wrote Ross.

The comfort about the reunion Ross references is because of the nature of Hogan's leaving WWE in 2015. In a sex tape that was released without Hogan's authorization, he was recorded using racial pejoratives and characterizing a race based on stereotypes. This led to his contract being terminated with WWE. Hogan later won a settlement from the distributor of his sex tape.

Also in the blog, Ross discussed his new bookings for WWE and attending the Cauliflower Alley Club's 52nd Annual Banquet.
