Jim Ross Announces He Is Cancer-Free

Jim Ross is officially cancer-free!

Jim Ross announced in the latter portion of 2021 that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer. Immediately, he set up a plan with his doctors that would allow him to undergo radiation treatment and return to the broadcasting booth for the final AEW Dynamite on TNT on Wednesday, December 29.

Now, after over 20 treatments, Jim Ross has officially announced that he has beaten skin cancer and will return to the broadcast booth tonight as planned.

Jim Ross had previously said he was not concerned about missing tonight’s episode of Dynamite, his main concern was beating cancer but thankfully, he has done that and there is no immediate need to go back to the drawing board.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite will not only feature Jim Ross’ return to the commentary booth, but also the AEW trios debut of the former Undisputed ERA, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish.

You can check out the full card for tonight’s episode here.

We will have live coverage of Dynamite, beginning tonight at 8 p.m. eastern time
