Jey Uso Wins WWE Intercontinental Title, Defeats Bron Breakker On WWE Raw
Jey Uso captures his first singles championship in WWE.
Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker on the September 23 episode of WWE Raw to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
He won the title with a series of Spears, including one on the outside, and sealed the deal with a second Uso Splash.
This is Jey Uso’s first singles championship after 14 years. He has held the WWE Tag Team Championship ten times, including two separate runs with Cody Rhodes because they held two different Tag Team titles simultaneously and eight runs alongside his twin brother Jimmy Uso. He and Jimmy also hold the record for the longest Tag Team Championship reign in WWE history.

Bron Breakker only successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship once after defeating Sami Zayn for the title at WWE SummerSlam. He was Champion for 52 days.
