Jessika Carr Comments On Becoming The First Woman To Referee A WWE Title Headlining PLE Match
Jessika Carr makes history again.
Jessika Carr is no stranger to making history on WWE Premium Live Events. In the past, she’s been the first woman referee in Saudi Arabia, the first woman referee inside Hell in a Cell, and had the privilege of breaking down other barriers.
At WWE Backlash 2024 in France, Carr made history again when she became the first woman referee assigned to a headlining WWE Championship Match on a PLE.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque complimented Jessika on breaking down another barrier in a post on X and she replied explaining what the gravity of the moment meant to her.
There are no words to express my pride, appreciation, and gratitude.
To be trusted with something of this magnitude is so special.
Thank you and I want to continue to grow, improve, and crush more glass ceilings. https://t.co/Fk7B0IX3r7
