Jerry Springer passes away at the age of 79.
The pop culture icon’s death was first announced by TMZ on April 27. Springer is mostly known for being the host of one of the most popular television shows in history, The Jerry Springer Show. Throughout his career, Springer has also been featured on America’s Got Talent, Judge Jerry, and The Price Is Right.
Springer also had a history with WWE. Springer guest hosted a February 2010 episode of Monday Night Raw, and also appeared on a September 2014 episode of Raw to moderate an intervention between The Bella Twins. In 2015, Springer hosted the WWE Too Hot For TV show on the WWE Network.
