Jerry Lawler Says His Health Is ‘Great’ Following 2023 Stroke, Working On Getting Knee Replacement
Jerry Lawler provides an update on his health following the stroke he suffered in 2023.
Jerry Lawler spent over five decades in the wrestling industry before suffering a stroke in 2023. While the stroke has affected his speech and caused other difficulties, Lawler remains in good spirits and even appeared via video during the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to help induct Andy Kaufman.
Lawler recently participated in a live signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions where he provided an update on his health and noted that he was trying to get back on track for knee replacement surgery.
“My health is great. I’m just getting over for the doctors to get back on the road for my knee replacement and then, of course, there are still some minor difficulties from the stroke, but all that stuff is coming around fast.”
Jerry Lawler had his final match, as of now, on January 21, 2023, when he defeated former Ring of Honor wrestler The Beer City Bruiser at AML Acts of War Games 2.
Fightful will continue to provide fans with an update on Jerry Lawler’s health when new updates are made available.
