Jerry Lawler Has An Idea Why Undertaker Might’ve Been At SummerSlam

The Undertaker was spotted on a flight to New York late last week, fuelling speculation that he might be appearing at SummerSlam in Brooklyn last Sunday.

He didn't appear.

But Jerry Lawler, who says on the latest episode of his podcast "Dinner With The King" that doesn't know whether or not Taker was at the Barclays Center, does have a theory as to what he might have been doing there.

First of all, Lawler is quick to point out that he never actually saw Undertaker backstage at SummerSlam, or even heard from someone else that they saw him. “I did not see or hear him mentioned at all. I dress in the talent relations room where at one point or another everybody on the card came through that room and I never saw him.”

But if Taker was backstage at SummerSlam, Lawler has an idea for why that may have been.

“Here’s something that I just realized. He may have been there because they were doing scans for a new game. Everybody that was on the show that night, myself included, had to be scanned. This company, it’s not the 2K people, it’s a different game that’s gonna be coming out next year. So everybody had to have their face scans and their body scans.”
