Jeff Jarrett believes The Rock and Cody Rhodes will clash in a singles match.

The Rock and Cody Rhodes have been feuding since February, as The Rock has aligned with Rhodes’ opponent at WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns. Tensions have continued to escalate, and Rhodes will battle The Rock in a tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania 40; Reigns and The Rock will face Rhodes and Seth Rollins. However, many fans believe they will face each other in a singles match at some point.

Speaking on My World with Jeff Jarrett, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked whether he thought fans would see Cody Rhodes face The Rock in a singles match, potentially at WWE SummerSlam.

“What is our running thread? Creative is subjective. It is subjective. So we can fantasy book all we want. Will see see Rock versus Cody at some point? Again, creative is subjective, and you have to factor in all the obvious. Rock’s schedule, injuries… there’s so many things to factor in. But I mean, the short answer is, absolutely, you will [laughs]. I think the short answer is absolutely,” Jarrett said.

On the March 18 episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes called The Rock a whiny bitch and questioned whether he would bring Little Dick Syndrome to WrestleMania 40. More information is available here.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are set to have a face-to-face confrontation on the March 22 episode of WWE SmackDown.
