Jeff Jarrett In Talks With TNA About Possible Return
TNA has had meetings with Jeff Jarrett about a possible return.
This according to John Pollock of Live Audio Wrestling. The LAW's parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment, is now funding TNA.
PWinsider reports that Anthem and Jarrett first started speaking last Monday. Jarrett met with Ed Nordholm, who is now in charge of the day-to-day operations of TNA for Anthem. Nordholm apparently wanted the meeting in order to gain more of an understanding of the background of TNA, as well as to learn how the company operated at different times. It should be noted that right now, there is no agreement in place for Jarrett to return.
PWinsider reports that if he were to return, that Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling promotion would need to continue. Jarrett has no plans to abandon the promotion, and wants it to remain active. PWinsider speculates that the Global Force Wrestling could become a part of TNA, through some kind of rebranding effort. Dave Lagana resigned last month, and TNA is in the process of looking for his replacement. PWinsider speculates that this could be an avenue for Jarrett and possibly Scott D’Amore to make their return.
