Jeff Jarrett Gives His Take On How He Thinks Ronda Rousey Will Fare In The WWE And Talks Getting To Reunite With Former TNA Stars

The former 6-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion looks forward to seeing his former employees/co-workers during WrestleMania weekend.

The newest member of the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame class had a few more comments to add to his first video interview with TMZ Sports. Jarrett would give his take on Ronda Rousey and what he believes she will add to the WWE. The man who has over 30 years of experience in the business, also shared his excitement about seeing the men who helped him build TNA from the ground up; former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion's, A.J. Styles & Bobby Roode, also TNA staples like Samoa Joe, Eric Young and others.

"Ever since I got the call and knew that April 6th was coming and you just start thinking 'Why me'. At times…. I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around it, but when I think about A.J. Styles, when he hit the scene a couple years ago in Orlando at the Royal Rumble and now this year, headed into Mania' as the champion, its meant to be… its really, really surreal." Jarrett added. "I've always said I never believed in coincides, only convergences. So, I’m super excited to see him, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Samoa Joe, there’s several others, but you know, AJ’s always been a special talent. You can look back at his career when me and him were side by side; he’s an easy guy to like, he’s an easy guy to promote."

Jarrett, being someone who is well versed in promoting, feels that the addition of Ronda Rousey to the WWE roster will be a massive boost and that she will be a "box-office attraction".

"Box office, if were… and we’re not, if we’re playing name game with Ronda Rousey and the WWE, its box office. She’s got a box office appeal, its proven, she carries a mystique about her… and that is what WWE does best; is when you truly have a mainstream star and Vince and the team and Hunter and Stephanie, they all get their opportunity to really laser focus that spotlight on her. Its gonna be box office, big box office and its gonna be exciting to see how it rolls out. That’s part of the magic of it. It’s the journey, opposed to the big time payoff match."
