Jeff Jarrett And Anthem Ordered To Have Settlement Conference

Jeff Jarrett and Anthem need to settle things.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, United States District Court of The Middle District of Tennessee Chief Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr. ordered that Jeff Jarrett and Global Wrestling Entertainment sit down with IMPACT Wrestling parent company Anthem for a settlement conference next month instead of the originally scheduled hearing to set a new trial date in the lawsuit Jarrett brought forth against IMPACT.

Johnson goes on to report Jarrett’s side requested a settlement conference as an attempt to work out a deal to end the legal battle between the two sides. Jarrett’s side offered to be available anytime between September 1 and 10. Anthem said Ed Nordholm was not available on those dates, but offered to meet in Nashville on September 11.

The two sides previously attempted to settle, but could not come to an agreement. Anthem filed a motion requesting a mistrial in July. You can find details on the motion by clicking here. Neither party has commented or issued a statement on the lawsuit since the mistrial.
