Jeff Hardy/Sheamus Segment From 6/12 WWE SmackDown Heavily Edited For West Coast Airing

The West Coast really knows how to take the piss out of a segment.

Jeff Hardy and Sheamus’ urine test segment from the June 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown did not appear in full on the West Coast.

The segment, which was all designed around and leading to a moment where Jeff Hardy throws “urine” in the face of “The Celtic Warrior” after Seamus had spent the entire segment verbally berating him was edited on the west coast replay of WWE SmackDown to subtract the moment where Sheamus actually gets hit in the face with Jeff’s sample. Instead, the show just abruptly cuts to commercial.

No official reason as of yet has been given as to why the segment was edited so heavily. This is not the first time that WWE has done a drug test skit. WWE utilized this specific segment once before back in 2006 when Shawn Michaels was preparing to face Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania. McMahon and his son, Shane, would both have the “urine” of HBK thrown in their face after Shawn Michaels reminded them that it is “better to be pissed off than pissed on.” Jeff Hardy used the same line on Sheamus, which was also cut from the West Coast airing.

The segment also featured a “doctor” Who’s PhD may very well be in Memeology. Learn more about the doctor’s identity at this link.
