Jeff Hardy: My Best Advice To Young Talent Is Don’t Be Afraid To Shine While You Sell

Jeff Hardy’s words of wisdom.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most beloved wrestling legends of the modern era. He also started his career as an enhancement talent, even scoring the rare win by defeating Razor Ramon via count-out on the January 13, 1996 episode of WWF Superstars. When a wrestler like Hardy spends most of his career as a babyface, especially when he gets started as an enhancement talent, he will spend a lot of time selling, and Hardy always took a beating in his matches.

All those years of experience have given Jeff Hardy a pearl of wisdom that he passes down to younger generations.

During a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Jeff Hardy revealed that his best advice for young talent is not to be afraid to shine as they sell their opponent’s offense. Hardy also encourages young talent to continue pushing the envelope creatively, even though it feels like everything has been done.

“Without a doubt, my best piece of advice still to this day is creatively, so much has been done, but there are things new to figure out. You just gotta fish for them and find them. But most importantly, do not be afraid to shine when you sell. That’s my best piece of advice.”

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are currently back in TNA Wrestling and they have creative plans in the promotion that will take them through the rest of this year. Learn more here.

Jeff Hardy also recently confirmed that his character, Willow, will return to TNA at some point. Read more about that at this link.
